About ielts.coach

Your personal IELTS coach, every day.

Most IELTS practice is generic: the same textbook passages and essay questions for everyone, whatever their level, job or goals. ielts.coach starts from you instead. It builds a personal course from your target band, your current level and the things you actually care about, then keeps adjusting as you improve.

It's for anyone preparing for IELTS Academic: students heading to university abroad, professionals registering in a new country, and people applying for visas, whether they have one month or six before test day.

How it works

Built around you
Tell us your work, studies and interests once. Passages, essay questions and cue cards are written around you, so practice feels relevant.
Pitched at your level
Every skill has its own level, from band 3.5 to 9.0. Score well and the next exercise gets harder; struggle and it eases off.
Marked like an examiner
Essays and spoken answers are assessed on the four official criteria, with corrections and a paragraph rewritten at your target band.
Words that stick
Flashcards, quizzes and a match game with spaced repetition bring words back right before you'd forget them.
Real exam rehearsal
Timed mock tests across Listening, Reading and Writing show where you stand and how you're improving.
A coach on your shoulder
Pip, our pencil coach, gives tips, notices your patterns and recaps every session. Ask it anything about IELTS.

An honest note on scores

Our band scores are careful estimates from AI marking against the public IELTS band descriptors. They're consistent and useful for tracking progress, but they are not official IELTS results. Only an IELTS test centre can give you those.
